The OB kept fighting me on dates bc she said I was off on my due date by over 7 days and she didn't want to do it before 38 weeks. I said she was wrong with her calculations and I was scared to go into labour. She wanted to schedule me for after my due date. We compromised on what she felt was 38 weeks right on and I said was 39 weeks and 4 days.
After my c section she came in to check on me and apologized. She said he was huge, and very obviously closer to 40 weeks than 38 weeks. That felt good to hear after spending so many months disagreeing with everyone else's date calculations.
I kept saying, "I was there, I know exactly when we conceived".
